Look who is 1!

He's one and so, so darling. Being restricted to the park wasn't his idea of a fab time. Once the shoes came off we hit the woodland trail there were lots of coos and smiles to be had...he's a little explorer for sure. Precious!

I have really kept up with my facebook business page (lately I have anyway) and I have to say that I LOVE IT! I love the social aspect of it all. The fun comments and banter back and forth as I post photos..it's awesome and really addicting! It makes me want to get photos up faster...and anything that makes me do that is a must have!

So if you aren't already a "fan" of the Third Generation Photography page, please please please do so. I advertise the sales and specials there more than anywhere, so you will know FIRST of these things if you join it. :)

Much love and many thanks... Hope to see you there!

My blog is a bore....but weddings are on the way. :)

See the little spidey bug on the flower? I love this photo, I love Spring.

My blog is a bore. This I know....*yawn*.
But I am looking to do weddings soon. I'm gearing up, literally...like spending outragious amounts of money on gear, so I can do weddings and do them RIGHT.

Crud on mud, photography is expensive...so if any of you are like my dear Swede friend and wonder why photographers charge so much (even though I'm like dirt cheap in comparison to many), it's because our gear is so darn expensive.

Well that's one reason anyway...you can have good gear and still manage to accomplish bad photographs...another reason why you pay, for the fact that I know what I am doing and how to use my crazy expensive gear. :)

Since I have spouted off two reason for the costs I will finish with the third reason...processing. Taking digital pictures is like having your negatives come out on your computer, but they still need to be "developed" or in the digital world "processed." There are some pretty awesome negatives that come about that often need little to no tweaking. But let's face it, the trend lately is overprocessed, color popped, high contrast photos. That or the creamy dreamy black and whites. Well neither of those trends come straight out of the camea. mmmkay? ;)

Happy Friday to all and to all a Happy Friday. I'm off to continue to educate myself on wireless transmission of lighting; and possibly purchase some pricey Pocket Wizards. :) (I've always loved alliteration.)
